Sports rehab made

simple.

Tired of guessing with your injured athletes? RTS provides the clinical education that school never did, allowing you to become the confident clinician that your patients deserve.

Level up your rehab

Taking athletes Beyond Baseline.

Standard rehab gets people feeling better.

Return to Sport Academy was built on a different premise — feeling better is not enough.

Athletes deserve to leave rehab more prepared for sport than before their injury. For that to happen, clinicians need to see sport as the forces, the stresses, and the shapes that drive athletic movement.

Without a clear destination, sports rehab becomes a week-to-week guessing game. Return to Sport Academy gives clinicians the direction that school never did.

Dr. Sean Sheridan PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

I started my career in a facility that most sports PT’s would dream of. Turf, every piece of equipment, time with athletes, and colleagues who pushed me. It was a great environment and I learned a lot.

Then life took me in a new direction and I became a travel PT.

Over the next few years I worked in clinics across the country. Small outpatient offices. Geriatric-focused settings. Places with no turf, no sleds, no force plates, and 40-minute sessions back to back.

Yet I kept having to treat athletes who needed more than what those environments seemed to offer.

It was then that I realized that early in my career, I had been leaning on equipment more than on my understanding. When the equipment was gone, I had to actually know what I was doing and why.

That forced me to go deeper. To understand sports rehab not as a place or a piece of technology but as a set of shapes, forces, and movement patterns that exist regardless of where you are training. A deceleration is a deceleration whether you are on turf or linoleum.

Once I started seeing movement that way, the constraints stopped feeling like limitations and started feeling like clarity.

Return to Sport Academy came out of that process. I built it because the voices in sports rehab fail to speak to the 95% of clinicians — those in everyday clinics trying to piece together treatment plans.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the return to sport treatment process, welcome. This is for you.
